As part of the Hy-Lab project, which has now been successfully completed with BMVI funding, a hydrogen quality laboratory was set up at ZBT and a system for sampling at hydrogen filling stations was developed. The HyLab project was carried out jointly with ZSW in Ulm. The addressed and achieved goal was the analysis of hydrogen quality for fuel cell-based mobility and the support of German and European standardisation activities.

Within the framework of the EU project HYDRAITE, ZBT and its partners ZSW and NPL also succeeded in setting up three European laboratories that can carry out gas analysis according to ISO 14687.
