THE HYDROGEN AND
FUEL CELL CENTER

Events and workshops of ZBT

Essential part of our research and development work is transfer of results into further research and industrial application. We communicate our research results through publications as well as events and participation in trade fairs.
We are looking forward to having an exchange with you during our activities!

Upcoming events at ZBT

At the beginning of February 2025, researchers and developers will meet in the hydrogen hotspot Duisburg for the first ZBT Hydrogen Days, the new technology forum for hydrogen technologies.
The Hydrogen Energy Symposium (HyES) is a new event for active researchers in the field of fuel cells, electrolysis and hydrogen infrastructure. It will enter its first round at the end of October. Registration for this premiere is now open.
CENIDE, ZBT and Anton Paar Germany are once again jointly organising the ‘Electrolysis | Fuel Cell Cooperation Seminar’ in Duisburg in March 2025.
The ZBT Supporters' Organisation meets regularly for its general meeting. In addition to the usual association business, current topics from the world of hydrogen are always discussed. Intensive networking is a thing too. At the subsequent ZBT Insights, which are open to everyone, industry players provide valuable insights into their work.
Safety first!

Past events at ZBT

With the opening of the HyTechLab4NRW at the ZBT in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia is setting an important milestone for hydrogen research. The state-of-the-art laboratory is intended to drive forward the development of innovative fuel cell and energy systems and strengthen NRW's role as an industrial centre.
The Hy.Summit.Rhein.Ruhr 2024 kicked off with a high-calibre opening gala in Duisburg and provided important impetus for the hydrogen ramp-up in the Ruhr region. Political and economic players discussed concrete steps towards the energy transition - from research to industry.
Einladung für Kurzentschlossene: Online-Abschlusskolloquium zum Projekt „GDL-Qualitätssicherung für den Markthochlauf (QM-GDL)“ am Donnerstag, den 26. September 2024 von 13 bis 15 Uhr. Anmeldung nur noch bis zum 20. September möglich!
A lecture on ammonia cracking and the presentation of a power-to-gas demonstration platform offered exciting insights into the potential of renewable energies, sector coupling and hydrogen derivatives as well as the optimisation of future energy systems.
State Secretary Silke Krebs from the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economic Affairs will officially open the new ‘HyTechLab4NRW’ hydrogen laboratory at ZBT on 26 September 2024. Admission is free, registration required.
SAVE THE DATE! The 2nd HeavyDuty Congress on 24 September 2024 invites you to find out more, get to know each other, exchange ideas and drive the transport revolution forward together.
We will be exhibiting at hy-fcell in Stuttgart on 8 and 9 October 2024.
Die Kooperationsplattform MAT4HY.NRW lädt zum Vernetzungstreffen: Am 21. November treffen sich Industrie, Forschung und Politik in Bochum zu Ideenaustausch und Networking.
