On 30 October 2024, the ZBT Research School will host the inaugural Hydrogen Energy Symposium. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with the latest research findings and discussions on hydrogen technologies. The event will be conducted entirely in English at the Fraunhofer InHaus Centre in Duisburg, Germany.
Our call for abstracts received numerous submissions from researchers across various disciplines and institutions, enabling us to curate a diverse programme from a wide range of exciting contributions. The symposium topics include:
- Functional materials and electrochemical systems
- Hydrogen storage, transport, safety, and regulation
- Fuel cells and electrolysers
- Hydrogen applications in mobility, industry, and energy systems
The presentations selected from the submitted abstracts will be complemented by two distinguished keynotes. Prof. Dr. Karin Leistner (TU Chemnitz) will speak on the connection between electrochemistry and magnetism, and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schuhmann will present on the search for new catalyst nanoparticles for energy conversion systems.
The event will conclude with a poster exhibition, offering a unique opportunity to learn about the latest research results and network with experts.
Registration for the Hydrogen Energy Symposium is now open to all. Please register as early as possible if you wish to attend, as spaces may be limited:
